There are conspiracy theories regarding the guidestones, but there doesn't seem to be a lot to complain about. Read the Ten Commandments for yourself:
1) Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.
2) Guide reproduction wisely — improving fitness and diversity.
3) Unite humanity with a living new language.
4) Rule passion — faith — tradition — and all things with tempered reason.
5) Protect people and nations with fair laws and just courts.
6) Let all nations rule internally resolving external disputes in a world court.
7) Avoid petty laws and useless officials.
8) Balance personal rights with social duties.
9) Prize truth — beauty — love — seeking harmony with the infinite.
10) Be not a cancer on the Earth — Leave room for nature — Leave room for nature.

People might not universally agree that all these commandments are good ideas, but some of them are just commonsense. Consider number seven, for instance! Obviously people will disagree about which laws are petty, and which officials are useless, but in concept most people would agree that number seven is a good idea.

dilbert: You're right, but I think some people are offended that they're referred to as The Ten Commandments, implying that they replace the set of ten commandments listed in the Bible.

Lou Reed - Vicious (Official Audio)
I guess it was the 1980s when the Transformers cartoon series came out. The first thing I thought of when I heard the name Transformer(s) was this album by Lou Reed. The Transformer album (1972) contains many excellent songs including "Walk On The Wild Side." I always looked at it as an album about losers, but now those people are being celebrated and that seems ironic to me. When Metallica collaborated with Lou Reed on an album, I thought that was interesting although nothing of any value came out of that collaboration. "Satellite of Love" and "I'm So Free!" are two more songs from the Transformer album which are particularly poignant. I don't think Lou Reed was celebrating deviance, just portraying it which is an entirely different concept probably too artistic for many people to comprehend. David Bowie can be heard doing background vocals throughout this album.
