Public defender accused of possessing child porn
In other words a prosecutor got mad over losing a case to this guy and so he paid someone to plant illegal pornography on his computer equipment. It's not the oldest trick in the book since computers haven't been around all that long, but it's a trick that gets used way too often and the news media should be wise to that by now!

How The Most Corrupt Judges Rise To The Supreme Court
Another example of how the system makes reform impossible or at least highly improbable.

Woman Sues After Police Destroy Her Home During 10-Hour Standoff With The Family Dog
Ridiculous and pathetic incompetence at its most extreme!
If you’re wondering why it took a couple of years for this event to make news outside of Idaho, it’s because the local paper apparently only checks court records or their exclusive police source, resulting in some very incomplete reporting. Why bother getting out there and talking to the homeowner or neighbors when you can sit on your chunk?

Makes you wonder how many other cases like this occur all the time throughout the country without coming to the attention of the general public.

Everyone's A Criminal
Admittedly, there are lots of laws which we don't have which should be created, BUT there are thousands of laws which should have never been made in the first place. On top of that, some laws are inappropriately enforced in that the bar is set too low which doesn't preclude the possibility that the bar is too high in other cases. The frustration is that we all know of cases where people have committed crimes and the cops did nothing, which makes these cases where people are busted for doing things which are of no consequence all the more infuriating!

Sometimes supposed crimes are exaggerated and other times things that should be crimes are dismissed as permissible. The USA has become a dysfunctional nation in many ways and our schizophrenic legal system reflects this pathology. If we could get a core group of sane individuals running things, then the legal system could be appropriately reformed. The problem is that democracy as it is practiced in the USA doesn't produce sane leadership.

Law enforcement seems to prefer the expensive and unnecessary over the effective and frugal. It would be nice if they could get their priorities right!

Gutfeld on defunding the police
When we talk about legal reform usually the idea is to improve the system. The idiots proposing that we defund the police seem to have the goal of creating anarchy.

Trump and Biden reject calls to defund police
Defunding the police is about the dumbest idea I've ever heard! The libtards are so stupid now that they seem to have forgotten that their biggest supporters are labor unions. Put a bunch of cops out of work and see how that goes for you! But more importantly, police are not the issue. Dysfunctional communities are the issue. Should the police conform to the will of dysfunctional communities? Do two wrongs make a right? It is impossible to eliminate all police brutality and brutality is already at a level so low that it will probably never get any lower. Deal with individual situations as they occur. That's the best we can do and that's exactly what was done in the George Floyd case.

I have heard Biden's spokesperson say he would not de-fund police dept's but have yet to hear those words out of his mouth.
