Star Wars Canyon (December 2018)
Anyone who travels from Trona to Lone Pine via Panamint Valley knows there's often tons of people parked at the Father Crowley monument waiting for the jets to fly down the canyon.

Star Wars Canyon C-17, F/A-18's, and Thunderbird
Also known as Jedi Canyon, but the official name is Rainbow Canyon. The Father Crowley Overlook is located east of Lone Pine on Highway 190 and just a few miles inside the DVNP boundary, but still west of Panamint Springs.

Low Level
Here's what it looks like from the pilot's point of view. This video starts by Lake Isabella and follows the Kern River for awhile. Then it hops over the Sierras down to Lone Pine and then over the Darwin Plateau before dropping down Rainbow Canyon and into Panamint Valley. All in a little over three minutes!
