Phone-charging stove updates camping gear
Here's some gear to help you keep your electronic equipment fully charged while you're in the backcountry! I've seen the solar chargers before, but this is the first I've seen of a stove that charges electronic gear! There's also a nice UV pen to keep your water pure.

Showing off the Power Practical PowerPot V
They say it's a great way to keep your electronic gadgets charged while you're out camping. It might be good to have in an emergency preparedness kit and I'm sure that there are plenty of preppers who will want one of these too. As for me, not so much!

Apple Granted Patent For Solar-Powered, Dual-Screen Laptop :pac:
Interesting idea that might help make it possible to keep your laptop charged while you're out in the middle of nowhere away from the power grid. Not really a game changer, but it might expand the playing field slightly!

I own one of these solar chargers in black. I paid over twenty dollars for mine about three or four months ago. I was totally impressed. It's actually a really high quality charger!

I leave it out in the sun all the time. It seems like the battery charges my cell phone every bit as fast as the wall charger though it takes several days to charge the solar battery. I never used it for camping. It's more for emergency use or the big one. So far I only actually used it for real one time when the electricity went out a few weeks ago. It came in handy because I forgot to charge my phone! I'd probably have to own several of them because I'm pretty hard on my phone.

I wonder if they have anything reasonable that will charge a notebook. They didn't last time I looked... It wouldn't do much good for me unless I could also power my wireless modem. A notebook is too big to take camping. I guess that's what they make Dell Venue's for...
Make Trona great again!

Cool camping gear includes phone-charging stove
Quite a few neat gadgets featured in this quick video. I'm not too keen on the speakers. After all, we go camping to escape the noise and enjoy a little peace and quiet.
