The guys on the football team would probably do alright if the school wasn't a total disaster.

Hiring a drunk dickweed who likes to drink with teens and who knows nothing about football. Bad idea, right?

Very bad idea and while the adults are doing favors for friends and family, kids are getting shafted.

Four losses to start off the season thanks to a coach who is a total loser. The school board knows there are videos showing the guy drinking with young teens and they still hired the moron. Video evidence! What more do you want? The school board has fired people based on mere rumors and here they have video evidence! I guess if you're a friend or related to a board member, it doesn't matter what you do!

Sometimes idiots use even bigger idiots to cover up for their own idiocy. The school board, superintendent, and other leaders may all be complete morons, but they selected an even bigger moron to be their football coach. When people complain about the football coach, the so-called leaders of the school can solve that problem, thereby taking the attention off their own idiocy. The USA has become a place where people fail upwards and where competent people are penalized. Trona is a microcosm of the larger culture and in some ways a caricature of that culture.

Olivia Rodrigo Has A Fussy Cat
As a member of this forum, I noticed that ziggy posted the original song by Rodrigo. As a subscriber to the BlackTurtleShow YouTube channel, I noticed this parody version of the song. Coincidence?

The Rodrigo video was posted by ziggy on 09/09 and the BTS video was posted on 09/19. BTS standing for BlackTurtleShow, of course. Ten days seems like more than enough time to do a parody song and the animation for the video. I give the BTS video five thumbs up.

dilbert: Thanks! I had no idea who Olivia Rodrigo was until I saw ziggy's post. I listened to the song and realized it had parody potential. The rest is history!

blackturtle.us: Will someone claim that your parody is full of double entendres? The last two words in the title are "fussy cat" and that could be taken to suggest "fuzzy pussy." I thought of it. So, I'd imagine a bunch of other people thought of it too. Most people have dirty minds, right?

We should probably get back to the topic of this thread and so I'll just say I agree with mrgreen. I got some good laughs out of the parody video.

defcon: We might be better off sticking to the topic of the blackturtleshow video. The THS football team is now 0-5. That's what happens when friends and family are hired rather than people who actually know what the heck they're doing! As for the blackturtleshow video, I thought it was funny.

A friend says that the player roster posted online contains inaccurate information. He said it shows kids who can't possibly weigh over 110 pounds as weighing around 150 pounds or more in a couple cases. According to my friend posting inaccurate information could be a CIF violation and could result in penalties against the school which could potentially impact other sports. A bigger problem could be if there's a lawsuit of some kind like if an athlete gets injured. Having a coach who is known to drink with teens and who falsifies information could be a major legal liability for the school district.
