MojaveMike: The media makes it sound like there's only one scenario and that's the worst case scenario. I've seen maps showing fallout hitting the East Coast. Much more likely are a series of small quakes and maybe a change in Old Faithful's schedule. A few signs will have to be altered and not a whole lot more, but you never know!

California Earthquake Coming? San Andreas Fault "Locked, Loaded & Ready to Roll"
It could be a single big one or a series of smaller ones, but there's no doubt that earthquakes aren't going to stop happening. Worst case scenarios probably aren't super likely, but something like that would be devastating.

Scientists discover new fault line in California
Interesting information about a new fault line discovered near the Salton Sea which may be absorbing pressure and helping us to avoid the big one.

Arizona Preparing For California Earthquake Evacuees
Assuming that roads are not destroyed or clogged with broken down vehicles, Arizona might see an influx of earthquake refugees, but that's just one of dozens of possible scenarios and probably not one of the most likely. Of course, conspiracy theorists probably see this as some sort of FEMA camp type of plot.

Something Unexpected and Weird Is Happening Beneath California’s Deadliest Faults
Does this mean that there will be a monumentally major earthquake in the not-to-distant future? Quite possibly!!!
This previously undetected movement, dubbed “deep creep,” suggests things aren’t happening beneath the San Andreas and San Jacinto faults in the ways we think they are. And that’s a problem, given the history of the region. Regions along these major faults are vulnerable to damaging earthquakes
