torn80: February seems a little early considering the infection rate at this time. And what are they going to do have all three seasons at the same time during April and May? That makes no sense. Just forget about this year and hope things get back to normal next year.

‘Strike a balance’: CIF director Ron Noncetti speaks on return of youth sports
Of course this could backfire in a big way. This could result in a big outbreak in which case "striking a balance" looks more like they talked themselves into doing something stupid and foolish.

Trona High School Football vs Desert Christian
How does a team up 34-12 at half time wind up losing 34-38?

CrustyOldFart: There are some obvious answers to your question and there are some not so obvious answers. If we wanted to we could work together and come up with a bunch of possible good ones. My guess is that the Desert Christian team was trying out a new system during the first half and switched back to their normal system during the second half. They had confidence and poise and were well-conditioned. I'll leave it at that, but most people can fill in the rest without too much work.

Just based on physical appearance it's obvious that one team was lean and mean and the other team was a bunch of fat pussies. You gotta figure that lazy teenagers who sit around playing video games or who ride dirt bikes in the desert aren't gonna be in very good shape. They really don't have what it takes to last a full game unless they're playing against a bunch of their own kind.

BoraxBill: No doubt that what you say is the truth, but I think the main criticism people have of the teams from Trona is the way they will run up the score when they go up against a team which is even weaker than them. The other issue is with the people from Trona who show up at games. Their behavior is unacceptable. There's even a current board member who was sanctioned by the CIF for her behavior as a coach. There's a general lack of character which pervades the town in many ways and it's gotten steadily worse in recent years. Trona has a very bad reputation throughout the region and it is almost completely deserved.

FAT PUSSIES?
Yeah, the video supports that statement, but I think it's a little harsh. You're undoubtedly right about lazy teenagers, but the same goes for adults. There is an obesity epidemic and despite all the information freely available to everyone on the internet, many people still take the path which leads to fat and lazy instead of healthy and productive.

Sabrina Strings Explains How 'Fatphobia' is Rooted in Racism
Fat shaming is not acceptable! There are just plain too many fat phobic posts in this thread!
(Keep in mind that this video was posted to YouTube on April Fools' Day and that I am not above sarcasm!)

MojaveMike: That seems like something that The Onion or The Babylon Bee would put out. It's that ridiculous, but the lady seems to be totally serious. Then again, it was posted on April 1st and so it seems like it has to be a joke. There's no way anyone could actually believe the BS she's saying!
