panamint_patty: I was an elementary teacher before I retired and many sensible kids became crazy teenagers a few years after leaving our elementary school. There were a few news articles that I read in the newspaper in the town where I taught where a few of them got themselves into a lot of trouble. Others I found out about through word of mouth. Most settle down some time in their 20s, but for many the teenage years sure can be rough!

They're especially scary when they're driving. They are incredibly horrible drivers as can be proven statistically by simply pointing out the high mortality rate of teenage drivers. Good parents don't let their teens drive drunk or sober!
