The kid probably deserved a beating, but teachers can't do that sort of thing. That being said, the teacher should lose his license to teacher, but he shouldn't face any criminal charges. The kid definitely belongs in juvenile detention longterm without a doubt!

Hitting a student is not really something that teachers should do on a regular basis, but I give the teacher a pass on this one. This was an extraordinary circumstance and so I'd let it go this time. And I most definitely agree that the kid belongs in juvenile hall.
