BoraxBill: The system bends over backwards to help Black students and yet Black students still do poorly on average. There are some individuals who do well, but on average compared to every other racial group, Black students do poorly in school. There may be cultural issues which come to play, but it's more likely that there are genetic differences which result in lower intelligence. That's just the sad reality of the situation and we shouldn't look at this as a racial issue. Individuals should succeed or fail according to their talent and willingness to work hard. As others have said, let the chips fall where they may.

Some people will go to great lengths to escape realities which make them uncomfortable. It's pretty clear that there are undeniable differences in intelligence between different racial groups. There are high and low people in all groups, but on average here's the basic order from smartest to least intelligent: Asian, White, Hispanic, Black. Does that mean that there aren't Black individuals who are smarter than Asian individuals? Obviously not, but on average that's how reality breaks down. Deal with it or deny it, but keep in mind that people who live in la-la land wind up in big trouble sooner or later.

I'd be afraid to send a kid to camp anywhere in California. The state pushes wokeness to an extreme. Any kid who complained about a trans counselor would most likely be subjected to ridicule and told that he or she is intolerant and transphobic.

A Solution to Children's Book Propaganda
The gatekeepers exclude books which present certain ideas and philosophies to children. The gatekeepers are the owners of big book companies. School textbooks are also subject to this type of exclusion. They say that diversity and inclusivity are good things, but they exclude diverse points of view. Self-publishing is a way to bypass the gatekeepers.

California only approves textbooks which support the woke agenda. That means any school which uses approved textbooks in California is basically woke. Some teachers know how to teach around the wokeness and undermine the agenda, but most teachers aren't that smart.
