How To Eliminate Flies
I've tried this and it actually works! Flies tend to be less of a problem during the winter, but during the summer flies can be an issue especially if you have pets.

Guy Builds Veggie Garden For Family Of Groundhogs
This is not how most people deal with pests. It seems like a really "nice" way of dealing with them, but what happens when you have two dozen of these creatures to contend with?

I just got through flushing a mole out of a hole in my garden area. The little varmint has been eating on one of my heirloom iris plants and making holes and little mounds in the garden area. Anyways, the poor little thing wandered around trying to find cover once it was soaking wet all out of its hole. I grabbed a garden hoe and went after it and quickly chopped it in half. While I feel bad to have killed an innocent creature who had no idea why I should be mad at it, on the other hand, it was damaging property of mine which I value. So, I feel morally justified in dealing with the situation in a decisive manner.

When a groundhog steals your veggies AND mocks you while doing it... I think that means six more weeks of autumn.
