THE SOY BURGER: Burger King's Impossible Whopper Has 18 Million Times More Estrogen Than Beef
I don't agree with many of the statements made in this video, but some of it might be valid. The guy is very opinionated and probably mostly wrong, but he does seem quite sure of himself.

A Twitter friend of mine tweeted the following list of foods that are supposed to increase longevity. Not any explanation, but there's the list:
1) broccoli sprouts (sulforaphanes)
2) pomegranate (elligantans, which are converted to Urolithin A by our gut microbes)
3) spinach (folate)
4) strawberries (fisetin)
5) mushrooms (glutathione and L-ergothioneine) - best kind: porcini

camel: I wonder what a smoothie made using those ingredients would taste like. I think I'd go heavy on the pomegranate and the strawberries, but it should be possible to get enough of the other items to do some good I'd imagine.

The Problem with the Paleo Diet Argument
Misconceptions about what our ancient ancestors did has resulted in a poorly conceived fad diet.

Paleo Diet: Gregor pretty much pulls the rug out from under the paleo diet. For that matter any kind of low-carb diet is pretty much debunked. Avoid processed sugar, process flour, saturated fats, trans fats, don't overdo the protein and consume lots of veges, beans, fruits, and nuts and you've got yourself a pretty good formula for good health.

Plant-Based Swaps for Every Occasion with Sweet Earth
I'd love to try some of these products. The Pogo Bars look really good, but so do the entrees!

What The Longest Living People Eat Every Day
Plant-based diets seem to increase longevity better than any other approach to diet. Obviously, you must pick the healthiest plant-based foods, but meat seems to not be beneficial from a longevity perspective.

Vegans Vs Reality
Partial knowledge results in being partially right and as we learn more and more, we come to understand the world better and better. It's hard to be sure of anything and often there is more to the picture than meets the eye.
