If it's getting to be time for rattlesnakes to end their hibernation cycle, then it must be about time for tortoises to exit their burrows and enjoy some fresh air. Anyone see any tortoises so far this spring?

panamint_patty: Good point. So far this spring we've heard a lot about rattlesnakes, but not much about tortoises. I'd rather see a tortoise than a rattlesnake while traveling through the desert any day!

Rattlesnake Hitches Ride on Tortoise
I could have posted this under the rattlesnakes thread, but the hero in this clip is the tortoise. The rattlesnake was just a freeloader hitching a ride!
