If it's not about plants, but it is about the natural environment of Death Valley, then this is the place to post your info or question.

That might be the middle name of several cartoon characters, but J is the middle initial of Bullwinkle J. Moose from Frostbite Falls, Minnesota! Hokey Smokes!

UCSD Supercomputer could forecast wildfire's path
Most people use their computers to play video games or do basic word processing or keep track of their bills, but not the people in this news clip!

Thomas fire may grow to be California's largest :wtf:
The big wildfires are usually in the summer or at least that's what I thought!

Red Flag Warning Extended Until Tuesday
You don't see coastal fires like this very often. Thank the Santa Ana winds for this one!

Been hearing about all the wild fires in the news and all night long I was smelling something burning; thinking the fire must be getting close!

Turns out I left a pot of cinnamon tea on all night and when I woke up this morning there was nothing left but the ash from the burned up sticks.

Do I feel stupid!
Make Trona great again!

The Cinnamon Tree | Cinnamomum verum
I'm willing to bet that a forest of cinnamon trees would produce a better smelling fire than most forest fires.
