Psychotria Elata or Hooker's Lips: The Most Kissable Plant
I love this flower so much I picked it as my avatar!
I almost called this thread EROTIC PLANTS, but decided to turn it down a notch or two!
These gorgeous pair of red, luscious lips belong to a plant known as Psychotria elata, a tropical tree found in the rain forests of Central and South American countries like Colombia, Costa Rica, Panama and Ecuador. Affectionately, Psychotria elata is called Hooker’s Lips or the Hot Lips Plants. The plant has apparently evolved into its current shape to attract pollinators including hummingbirds and butterflies.

TickleMe Plant
I think this is supposed to be an advertisement for someone selling copies of this plant, but the extremely annoying song seems like it would scare potential customers away rather than keep them around long enough to actually consider purchasing one.

Incredible "Toilet" plant - Attenborough 60 Years in the wild - BBC :wtf:
After posting about the hikers who got busted for posing nude on Mount Kinabalu in the Naked Yoga thread (see Recreation and Entertainment), I did a little search for info about Mount Kinabalu and found this!!!
Sir David Attenborough explains the strange symbiotic relationship between Tree Shrews and Rajah Pitcher Plants on Mount Kinabalu, Borneo.
