Staber System 2000 Water and Energy Saving Washing Machine
My off-the-grid house in the southern Sierras came with solar panels, a well, and all that stuff, as well as this washing machine. It's different from any other washing machine I've ever used. It seems to work well, but it takes a little getting used to.

Nice! I've never seen one like that, but I suppose the main thing that matters is that it gets clothes clean. Saving energy and water are definitely a bonus!

sandman: Interesting videos! People like to complain about YouTube, but there is so much useful information on YouTube and the videos you posted really help people understand the basic components that go together to make a simple home solar power off-grid system.

Amazing Lego-Style HEMP BLOCKS Make Building a House Quick, Easy & Sustainable
This is a really smart way to build a house! The only issue would be the price of the blocks. Hopefully they become mass produced and the price comes way down.
