A Texas town leads the country in using solar and wind energy
Wind energy is probably not viable in Searles Valley. There can be a lot of wind, but it's not an everyday thing. Solar energy HOWEVER does make sense in Searles Valley. A small "solar farm" is all it would take to produce most of the energy needed within the valley. It would seem like a good investment as far as I can tell.
