New Rule: The 'What Were You Thinking' Generation
Judging what people did in the past by today's standards isn't very smart.

How Millennials Became The Burnout Generation
Millennials are:
spoiled, entitled, lazy, and failures at what’s come to be known as “adulting,” a word invented by millennials as a catchall for the tasks of self-sufficient existence. Expressions of “adulting” do often come off as privileged astonishment at the realities of, well, life: that you have to pay bills and go to work; that you have to buy food and cook it if you want to eat it; that actions have consequences.

Are millennials killing the doorbell industry?
Interesting point about texting instead of ringing. Seems like a reasonable alternative to me, but not a complete replacement.

recluse: Smart doorbell security devices are probably the biggest thing killing standard doorbells. I know several people who have doorbell cameras that function as doorbells plus they record whoever is at the door. Most are motion sensitive and so they'll record even if the doorbell itself is not touched. Millenials are probably not the largest group purchasing these devices, although it's hard to tell what age group has purchased the largest number of them.

It is a great thing to be able to bring this doorbell topic to the table. If the economy was in the toilet, high unemployment or a rise in terrorism across the globe we would be talking about those things instead.

No. Both conversations would still be had, but we'd have them in the appropriate threads.
