Google’s Answer to ChatGPT: Sparrow, the Chatbot That Can Do It All
I've heard all sorts of proposals about making money using ChatGPT and it sounds like there are other options, but does it really help generate original ideas?

I've heard quite a bit about ChatGPT and I've played with it on a few occasions. There is some paranoia and there is some hype, but what I saw wasn't all that impressive.

Elon Musk drops 'extraordinary' bombshell on AI dangers
Seems like Elon is just going for a little publicity. This is the kind of stunt which appeals to people's fears, but has no basis in reality.

pcslim: Looks like a publicity stunt to me too. Two tech company leaders and a guy running for president. Kind of obvious that they're just trying to get more name recognition for their candidate.

sandman: That's my take on the situation also. We can't afford not to continue work on AI. Otherwise China or some other country will "get there first" and the first country to develop powerful AI will have a huge advantage over other countries. It may even be a decisive advantage.

Cheating with ChatGPT? Students dish on temptations of AI in the classroom
Actually the students aren't talking about using ChatGPT to cheat. Actually they're talking about using it as a research aid.

They’re training the AI to ‘lie’: Elon Musk
Like any new technology, AI can be used for good or evil.

Google CEO: AI impact to be more profound than discovery of fire, electricity
Some of the concern regarding deep fakes seems to be misplaced, but it is interesting to hear from top people from Google on the topic.

When I heard that the dumbest VP in history was being named the AI czar, I just shook my head in bewilderment!
